Joana Quaynor Esq

Manager, Administration and Legal

Joana Quaynor is a value-driven legal professional with a background in law and a strong interest in development and leadership and a passion for community engagement and cultural preservation. With a diverse range of experiences, she has honed her legal, administrative, and technological skills.

Her academic foundation is both rigorous and diverse. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from University of Ghana and completed her Professional Law Course at the Ghana School of Law. This legal training is complemented by an earlier Bachelor of Arts degree in Information Studies and Music from University of Ghana. This unique combination provides her with a rare dual perspective: the structured, analytical mind of a legal professional and the creative, expressive soul of an artist. She understands that preserving culture requires not just policies and legal frameworks, but also a deep appreciation for artistic expression as a universal language.

Joana’s life is richly interwoven with music—a core element of cultural heritage. Her academic study of music where she specialised as a Violinist, combined with her personal passion, has given her a deep understanding of various genres and their roots in different cultural areas. This isn’t merely theoretical; it’s a lived experience that informs her approach to global sustainability. She appreciates that cultural preservation is active, participatory, and found in the performance and sharing of artistic works across boundaries.

Her extensive internship experiences at the Circuit Court, Accra,TotalEnergies Marketing Ghana PLC, Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) and Accra Metropolitan Road Department (AMRD) have provided her with hands-on skills in legal research, document drafting, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Joana Quaynor embodies the sustainable spirit: a harmonious blend of structure and creativity, law and art, all dedicated to the vital goal of preserving global cultural heritage for a sustainable future.
