HRM NENE SAKITE II (MODERATOR)

HRM Nene Sakite II is the Paramount Chief of Manya Klo, President of the Eastern Regional House of Chiefs and Chairman of the Committee on Governance at the National House of Chiefs.

He attended college in the United States of America and obtained a BA degree in Economics and MA in International Economic Development from Clark University and MBA in Financial Management. Due to his significant educational experience, he landed job opportunities with financial institutions and worked to the level of director/senior consultant, while at the same time took on additional responsibilities as a lecturer in colleges and universities in Massachusetts.

Indeed, he gained admission into the doctoral program (EdD) in Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts. This opportune ambition, however, had to be suspended in order to relocate to Ghana to serve his people and nation.

His book, “The Gospel and Tradition: The Royal Narrative,” makes impeccable contributions to the body of knowledge in culture. Also, his vast experience and leadership role in cultural practices make him the most suitable choice as the moderator for this International Conference on Culture Preservation, which is grounded in the SDG Goals, Agenda 11.4.

Dr. Najmeh Sheikholeslam

Dr. Najmeh Sheikholeslam is a lecturer and researcher in Strategic Management and Human Resources at the International Business School The Hague. She teaches across undergraduate to doctoral levels in HRM, Organizational Behavior, Business and Healthcare Management, blending theory with practice.

She holds a PhD in Strategic Management from Tarbiat Modares University, a Master’s in HRM from the University of Tehran, and a Bachelor’s in Business Management from Esfahan University. Her professional background includes HR, performance, and project management roles at Kherad Complex, MTN Group, and telecom research projects.

Her publications cover organizational coordination, HR practices, and women’s empowerment through NGOs. Actively engaged in volunteer initiatives, she supports women’s and disability welfare causes. Fluent in English and Farsi, with working knowledge of Dutch and Arabic, she brings an international perspective to her teaching, research, and speaking.

Professor Cornelis Johannes (Hans) Kok

Professor Hans Kok is Dean of the International Business School The Hague, overseeing program development, accreditation, and quality standards. He teaches leadership, project management, agriculture, and research methods, training leaders across government, business, and nonprofits worldwide.

He holds a PhD in Biology from Radboud University Nijmegen, with expertise in aquatic ecology and soil science, and has authored numerous publications, co-authored books, and holds four patents in sustainable plant protection. His career began at Wageningen University in plant research and soil ecology, later expanding into leadership, R&D management, and business development.

Professor Kok is also a Visiting Professor at Redeemer’s University (Nigeria) and Deputy Faculty Member at Bakke Graduate University (USA). Fluent in Dutch, English, and German, he speaks internationally on leadership, ethics, sustainability, and organizational development.

Mr. B.W. (Willem) Westermann

Mr. B.W. (Willem) Westermann (61) studied law in Utrecht. Already in his student days, he was preoccupied with organising and supervising events. Immediately after graduation, he went to work for Flashlight Rental BV, a company that specialises in lighting for shows, TV, fairs and events. The interest in everything involved in the event world became wider, resulting in work at Mojo Concerts BV, the country’s largest concert organizer. As Head of Production, he was partly responsible for the actual organisation of events with tens of thousands of visitors.

Since 2000, Westermann has his own consulting firm. He works for the VVEM, the Association of Event Makers. He is chairman of the association PMSE (Dutch association for wireless links for Programme Making and Special Events). In SKEN (the Foundation for the Quality of Events) he promotes the development of quality labels and documents in the event world. He is a member of numerous working groups, steering committees, focus groups and field meetings. Westermann writes legal opinions and standards for the entertainment industry. Many parts of his work have to do with security, both for workers and the public. As OHS advisor and security coordinator, he has a lot to do with translating the rules into practice in the workplace. He is the co-author of the Dutch Event Safety Guide. As a safety coordinator, he works for cultural events and the EDM Industry.

With great pleasure, he has been involved in organising events in South Africa and Kenya. As an event consultant, he visited Zambia and Senegal. Nowadays, he feels privileged to cooperate with Ghanaian organisers on events in the Netherlands and Ghana.

Dr. Aristedes Narh Hargoe

Aristedes Narh Hargoe (PhD) is currently a Snr. Lecturer at the Department of Dance Studies, School of Performing Arts, University of Ghana, Legon. He is a University of Michigan African Presidential Scholar (UMAPS – Fall 2022), BECHS-AFRICA (Andrew Mellon Foundation Fellow – 2026) and doubles as the Artistic Director of the Ghana Dance Ensemble of the Institute of African Studies, University of Ghana Legon. 

He holds a PhD in Ethnomusicology from the University of Cape Coast, a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from the University of Ghana. His research interest lies within the domains of Dance Ethnography, Dance Aesthetics, Performance Studies and Semiotics. He is also interested in Dance Therapy.

Nii Armah Addy

Nii Armah Addy is a Lawyer, Chartered Management Consultant, Microsoft specialist, and an Educationist. He has over two and a half decades of corporate experience and a decade of teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His mercurial savvy in research places his articles as good references globally and, in some cases, as teaching material. His incisive thinking, analytical skills, and judgment place him as one of a tiny crop of thought leaders contributing to societal development with a unique multidisciplinary consultancy practice tailored to improve clients’ capabilities and profitability; as a Ghanaian from the GaDangme tribe, his understanding and participation in cultural practices focuses on the infusion of institutional participation to enhance the engagement of culture, diplomacy, and business.
